Welcome to my blog page! I will be using this as my PLE for this semester and have incorporated my personal blog for my ECMP 355 class on this site as well! I hope you enjoy the information i have to offer and feel free to leave any comments or questions you may have!
I am a 2nd year education student in the middle years program at the University of Regina. It wasn't until recently that I realized my passion for teaching young students and wanting them to flourish into contributing members of society. My greatest inspiration for being a teacher is actually a former teacher of my own. My grade 8 teacher not only carryed the role of teacher but our friend as well. I learnt that teaching doesn't mean being the authority figure all the time, and that learning can be fun. The more interactive and interesting the lessons and people that surround you, the more you will be inclined to naturally learn.
I love to be active and play as many sports as possible when given the opportunity. I used to play varsity volleyball for Simon Fraser University in Burnaby B.C. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and traveling different parts of the world when it fits into my busy schedule.
This site will be a combination of comments, thoughts and assignments regarding my ECMP 355 class. It will also however, hold a lot of personal information as far as the knowledge I have learnt thus far in the education program at the U of R.
